This is the tip of the iceberg, and hopefully the beginning of a conversation.

Learn about me before diving in.

As an engineer, I enjoy expressing myself by creating structure, so I enjoy writing’s application in structuring my thoughts, goals, and beliefs.

But still, I could write for myself, right? Why make it public?

I think an (imaginary?) audience is a decent motivation to write.
I want a space for family¹ to follow the goings-on in my life.
I want to build a free-standing garden² of ideas. If I succeed in building such a garden, I’d want to share and reference it to my friends.
The web is a great way to meet like-minded folks: this is my beacon.

I generally don’t write “articles”, but Wikipedia-esque, evolving documents. I want to construct a home for ideas that can iterate and deepen over time. I like the metaphor of a garden as a source of analogies. I want to seed, nurse, prune, till, mulch, and harvest ideas, here.↩︎
