Initially, we thought we’d want to see Florence, Venice, maybe Rome.
However, we really wanted to start by bathing in luxury in Capri. We’d
have 2 weeks to see this all!
Upon research, we realized that there’s a lot to see in
Italy. In fact, we could probably just spend 2 weeks around Napoli.
With these constraints cursory research, we decided to stick just to
Napoli, Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Capri: the tourist highlights of
coastal Campania.
We’d then either fly out of Napoli to Barcelona (very cheap flight!)
or take some kind of train to Barcelona. We’re not sure yet whether we’d
spend a night in Barcelona, or simply have a long schlep back to the
NYC.
